Instructions
- Dice the onion finely and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, uncooked rice, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into uniform 1-inch meatballs.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sear the meatballs in a little oil until browned on all sides.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the meatballs and simmer for about 30 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve over rice or pasta.

- For added flavor, use seasoned tomato sauce.
- Substitute rice with quinoa or include diced vegetables like bell peppers for extra crunch.
