- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cream or milk (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Stir in sugar and lemon juice until combined. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out chilled dough on parchment paper into a rough circle. Place mixed berries in the center.
- Fold edges over the berries and brush with cream or milk for a golden finish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to use seasonal fruits or add a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
