Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Whisk together the cocoa powder and sugar, then gradually add to the warm milk, stirring continuously to prevent clumps.
- Add the cinnamon stick, chili powder, and vanilla extract. Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- Strain into mugs to remove solids and serve hot. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.
