Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best results).
- Stir in your choice of mix-ins before pouring the mixture into an ice cream maker.
- Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until thickened (about 20-25 minutes).
- Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Serve in bowls or cones and enjoy with friends!
Notes
- Experiment with different flavors by swapping vanilla extract for almond or coconut extract.
