- 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 24 ladyfingers
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool. Add vanilla extract if desired.
- In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled coffee, then layer them in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, and top with remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Sift cocoa powder over the top before serving.
- Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
