 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella
 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
 
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and slice the bread and cheese evenly.
 - Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
 - Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
 - Place one slice, butter-side down, in the skillet. Layer with cheese, then top with the second slice, butter-side up.
 - Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Carefully flip and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and both sides are crisp.
