Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup milk (whole or plant-based)
- 1–2 tablespoons sweetener (honey or sugar, to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the strawberries under cold water and remove the stems. Pat dry.
- In a blender, combine the cleaned strawberries and milk. Add sweetener if desired. Blend until smooth (about 30 seconds).
- For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
- If using, add vanilla extract and blend briefly to mix.
- Pour into glasses filled with ice if desired and garnish with whole strawberries.
Notes
- Experiment with different milk types; almond or oat milk adds unique flavors.
- Adjust sweetness according to preference; start with less and add more if needed.
- Leftover strawberry milk can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
