- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp melted butter (slightly cooled)
- Whipped cream or icing for decoration
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined—do not overmix.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or nonstick spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top (2-3 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Once slightly cooled, decorate with whipped cream or icing to create ghostly faces.
