Ingredients

- 4 ripe peaches, sliced
- 4 black tea bags
- ¾ cup sugar or honey
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
- 4 cups chilled water
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pot. Add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
- While still warm, stir in ¾ cup of sugar or honey until fully dissolved.
- In a bowl, muddle half of the sliced peaches until juicy.
- In a pitcher, combine brewed tea, muddled peaches, remaining sliced peaches, and lemon juice. Add mint leaves if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld. Serve over ice cubes.

- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to five days; stir before serving.
