Nutella Banana Muffins are a delightful fusion of sweet, ripe bananas and rich chocolate hazelnut spread. These soft and moist muffins are perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 12 muffins 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients to avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in Nutella to create swirls throughout the batter.
  6. Fill muffin cups about three-quarters full and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool in the tin for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture.
  • Add chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra flavor boost.
