Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated salmon skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately alongside your favorite sides.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding capers or olives before baking.
- Feel free to swap out herbs based on personal preference; dill or basil can also work beautifully.
