Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk (whole or almond)
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in milk and melted butter until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined; it’s okay if there are lumps.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
- Pour about 2 tablespoons of batter for each pancake bite onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in chocolate chips or fresh berries into the batter.
- Letting the batter rest for a few minutes can enhance fluffiness.
