- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour half of the sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- In the last five minutes of baking, drizzle the remaining sauce over the chicken to caramelize slightly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- This recipe is also delicious with tofu or mixed vegetables for a vegetarian option.
