Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ears fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup pure honey
- ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper (freshly cracked)
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Shuck the corn and rinse under cold water.
- Stand each cob upright on a cutting board and slice downwards to remove the kernels.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly but not browned.
- Stir in honey until well combined with the melted butter.
- Add corn kernels, salt, and pepper; stir gently to combine.
- Sauté for 8-10 minutes until corn is tender yet retains some crunch.
- Optional: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder.
- Maple syrup can be used as an alternative sweetener in place of honey for a unique flavor twist.
