- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the milk until you form a sticky dough.
- Pour half of the melted butter into the prepared dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough over the melted butter without worrying about spacing.
- Pour the remaining melted butter over the top of the dough.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Notes
- For added nutrition, substitute some all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
- You can mix in shredded cheese or chopped herbs to create unique flavor variations.
