Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and tools.
- In a heatproof bowl, combine chopped dark chocolate and heavy cream over simmering water. Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in butter until fully incorporated.
- Mix in vanilla extract, then let the mixture cool slightly before refrigerating for 1-2 hours until firm.
- Once chilled, scoop out ganache using a melon baller or small spoon and roll into balls between your palms.
- Coat each truffle in cocoa powder before serving.
