Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and prepare your workspace.
- Cut the mozzarella into thick sticks, approximately ½ inch wide.
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with Italian seasoning, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Dipping each cheese stick in flour, then the egg mixture, followed by breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat this step twice.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the coated cheese sticks in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
