Homemade Peppermint Patties are a delightful treat featuring a creamy mint filling enrobed in rich chocolate. Perfect for sharing or enjoying solo!

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 20 patties 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp pure peppermint extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Stir in peppermint extract.
  2. Form small balls (about one tablespoon each) of the mixture, flatten them into patties, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each chilled patty into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing back on parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.

Notes

  • For a unique twist, consider using white chocolate for dipping.
  •  Ensure your peppermint extract is fresh for the best flavor.
