This easy homemade granola recipe blends wholesome oats, nuts, and seeds for a delightful breakfast or snack that’s fully customizable to your taste.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: Approx. 8 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup seeds (pumpkin or sunflower)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup dried fruits (raisins or cranberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, chopped nuts, and seeds until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup (or honey), melted coconut oil, and cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the oat mixture and stir until everything is well-coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through for even browning.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before mixing in the dried fruits.

Notes

  • For added flavor, toast your oats before mixing.
  •  Feel free to experiment with different nuts or include dark chocolate chips for a sweet twist!
