- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
- ½ cup sliced olives (black or green)
- ½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and let store-bought pizza dough rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (approximately 12×16 inches).
- Evenly layer mozzarella, crumbled sausage, sliced bell peppers, and olives over the dough, leaving a one-inch border.
- Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough towards the opposite edge and pinch to seal.
- Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into pieces and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side.
