- 1 round loaf of sourdough or ciabatta
- 1 cup fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill and parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. Hollow out the bread loaf, leaving about an inch of crust.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, herbs, lemon juice, garlic powder, and half of the cheddar cheese until well mixed.
- 4. Fill the hollowed bread loaf with the seafood mixture and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- 6. Serve immediately with leftover bread pieces or vegetables for dipping.

- Use day-old bread for sturdiness.
- Feel free to customize with different seafood or add vegetables like spinach for added nutrition.
- For a richer flavor, consider mixing cheeses such as mozzarella and cheddar.
