- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 avocado (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, stirring occasionally.
- Add taco seasoning and stir to combine. Simmer for one minute.
- Press down portions of cooked beef with a spatula to form thin patties. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until crispy edges form.
- Warm the taco shells in another skillet or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel.
- Assemble tacos by placing smashed patties in warmed shells and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and avocado if desired.
- Serve on a colorful platter and enjoy!
