  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (divided)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups canned peaches (drained and chopped)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add melted butter and the yeast mixture. Stir until combined, then knead until smooth (about 5 minutes).
  3. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm area until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread remaining melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and peaches.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from one edge, slice into 12 even pieces, and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with icing made from powdered sugar mixed with milk until smooth.
