Buffalo Cauliflower is a deliciously spicy and crispy snack that will impress everyone at your next gathering. This plant-based treat offers all the flavor of buffalo wings without any meat.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast (optional, for a cheesy flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil and half of the buffalo sauce until well-coated.
  4. Dredge each floret in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
  5. Arrange them on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drizzle with remaining buffalo sauce before serving hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure the cauliflower florets are evenly spaced on the baking sheet.
  •  Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more hot sauce or cayenne pepper according to your taste preferences.
