Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the overripe bananas until smooth. Stir in both sugars until fully combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the banana mixture; beat until well mixed.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Pour in the browned butter and stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until golden brown on top, and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
