Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder until well combined.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth with no lumps.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds. The cake should be set but slightly gooey in the center.
- Allow to cool briefly before enjoying. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.
