Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium zucchinis (about 300g)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 225°F (110°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. Slice the zucchinis into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
- 3. In a large bowl, toss the sliced zucchini with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan if desired.
- 4. Arrange the seasoned zucchini slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets without overlapping.
- 5. Bake for 1-2 hours, checking frequently in the last 30 minutes until crispy.
- 6. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
Notes
– For even slicing, use a mandoline; it ensures consistent thickness for optimal crispiness.
- Try experimenting with different seasonings like smoked paprika or nutritional yeast for added flavor.
- Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
