Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs), peeled and cut into thin strips
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine potato strips with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
- Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle grated parmesan over the hot fries. Toss gently to coat evenly.
- Serve while hot, paired with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
Notes
- For extra crunch, soak potato strips in water for 30 minutes before cooking to remove excess starch.
- Experiment with sweet potatoes or add spices like paprika for added flavor.
