Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
