Instructions

  3. Fit a piping bag with a star tip and fill it with the dough. Pipe strips about six inches long onto parchment paper.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan until it reaches approximately 350°F (175°C). Test the oil with a small piece of dough; it should sizzle immediately.
  5. Carefully drop piped churros into the hot oil, frying them for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove churros from the oil and drain on paper towels. Coat immediately in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon while warm.
