- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin pan or line it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Mix in the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips delicately.
- Spoon the batter into muffin cups about two-thirds full and bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
Notes
- For a healthier option, substitute applesauce for melted butter or oil.
- Try adding nuts or dried fruits for variety.
